Must be minimum 51% U.S. content. 2) Industry and Analysis- develops and executes international trade and investment policies and strategies. Publishes research on global opportunities for U.S. industry. 3) Enforcement and Compliance - • Investigates allegations of unfair trade and enforces U.S. antidumping duty and countervailing duty trade laws • Facilitates trade and promotes U.S. business investment and commercial activity in more than 1,000 federally designated Foreign Trade Zones • Monitors and ensures compliance with trade agreements negotiated on behalf of U.S. industries 6 3

Worth Chapter June 14, 2018 The U.S. Commercial Service Our Reach • 108 offices across the United States • My office covers all of north Texas • 128 foreign offices located in our U.S. Embassies & Consulates in more than 75 countries • 56 Partner Posts with U.S. Department of State Economic Sections in countries where we are not physically present 7 How We Assist U.S. Companies • Provide export assistance for both new-to-export and experienced U.S. companies looking to expand international business • Counseling (a combined 1,300 Trade Specialist in our U.S. and foreign offices) • Provide business matchmaking and due diligence services on foreign partners • Support foreign & domestic trade shows.
