INTRO
01 Metsä Spring, part of Metsä Group, was established in May 2018. It serves as a tool, by which Metsä Group can accelerate its new business identifjcation and development activities. Metsä Spring operates outside the current business areas of Metsä Group, in order to increase effjciency and have maximum focus. Metsä Spring aims at minority stakes in selected “demonstration phase”
- projects. The “industrialization phase” on the other hand, is not within the
scope of Metsä Spring. However, it can be of interest to Metsä Group’s business areas. Metsä Spring does not replace the innovation activities of Metsä Group’s current business areas. It is an addition to the toolbox. In addition to fjnancial resources, Metsä Spring also aims to invest the know-how and experience of the group into the selected projects. We
