With so many popular and successful clubs it isn’t practical to list individual highlights but as per usual, there are constantly requests from the clubs to expand or add new sessions to allow more children to participate. This in itself is a sign of how the clubs are successful and it is down to the way they are run by their fantastic leaders. One thing that came up during the year at a parent council meeting was that information on price variation would be helpful for parents. Simply put, why do some clubs cost more than others? Some clubs have higher costs for materials which they pass on to their pupils but in turn, this makes them less affordable. Looking into ways to keep club running costs down is something that needs to be considered. Next term we will be welcoming a new convener for our clubs and I will work with them to make sure that everything transitions smoothly. This will include coordinating with the new PVG administration.
