Be guided by a CPA auditor mentor throughout a pre-approved public accountancy program Accumulate 1,250 hours in assurance, including 625 hours in audit engagements Choose the taxation and assurance courses during the PEP Pass the CFE with the auditor role

Main differences between Desautels and SCS: 1) All courses are held week nights and weekends - no weekday/daytime courses 2) You can work fulltime while doing the SCS CPA program, even the summer you write the CFE – Desautels you need to take 2 summers off work 3) All 4 electives are offered, Assurance, Taxation, Finance, Performance Measurement – Desautels only offers Assurance and Taxation 4) Lower CGPA requirement for program admission 5) SCS program completed over a 24 month period versus Desautels program completed over a 17 month period 6) SCS program starts in September 2019 versus Desautels which starts in May 2019

OR B) Hold an undergraduate degree in any discipline from an accredited university AND a Certificate in Accounting or Diploma in Accounting from the School of Continuing Studies, or an equivalent credit program from a recognized Canadian university. Both the undergraduate degree and Certificate in Accounting or Diploma in Accounting must be completed with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. *We invite you to still apply even if your cumulative CGPA is below 3.0*
