OVERVIEW OF CONTRACTING METHOD ▪ Submit OEDA application online ▪ Discipline committees review applications and select firms ▪ Execute the Open-Ended Designer Agreement contract ▪ One year with option to extend for one additional year ▪ When a project under $500K total project cost is initiated, execute an Authorization to Proceed (ATP) ▪ Contract Structure ▪ Prime consultant / Subconsultant / Hybrid: In-House Architect with OEDA Engineering ▪ Rotate through list of firms within discipline
