Purpose: Give a presentation/training (2017/05/23 at MVC room 950) on the CTE Cal‐Pass Plus and LaunchBoard Tools to the MSJC CTE Faculty.

Cal-PASS Plus & LaunchBoard

Cal-PASS Plus was created through leadership and funding provided by the California Community College Chancellor’s Office,

 Cal‐PASS Plus’s mission is to provide data to help improve student success along the education‐to‐workforce pipeline. Cal‐Pass Plus has Enrollment & Performance measures on:  K‐12  CCC  Ca 4 Yr. Univ.  Employment Data – on a Region, County and/or State Level Cal‐Pass Plus is working with State of California; the goal is to have the State help the Chancellor’s Office by providing data on employment and education. Collaboration using this data  Will help with improving instruction,  Will work towards closing the achievement gaps,  Identify scalable best practices,  Work towards improving student transitions (From School into the Workforce) Cal‐PASS Plus offers data charts, detailed analysis of pre‐K through 16 outcomes, success factors, and comparisons of students in universities, colleges , K‐12 school systems, And Outcomes on a Student’s Transition into the workforce
