* Description and presentation of best practices by the Icelandic model in

regards to Child Protection against Corporal Punishment (CPCP), Evris

  • Foundation. Explore and transfer the "best practices" at international level

in 3 EU MS

* Training of trainers (ToT), 4 days in Bulgaria. The training will include

representatives of all partners. The training will be held by Icelandic experts in coping with CP against children. The training will include skills for leading groups

different ages (specific characteristics and techniques), communication skills, leadership, facilitation, game techniques, etc.

* Developing a manual for trainers – CHAPTER-comprehensive program of

care in direction of recognition and empowerment of children and their

  • parents. This will include skills for leading groups, working with different

age groups, communication skills and leadership, game techniques, work on the problem CP (identification and support), code of ethics of working with children.

* Regular supervisions in regards to the piloting implementation of the

methods in different countries - Evris, PuF .

* Conducting screening among the major groups of CYP, * Producing 3 (three) practical methodologies: * Methodology for working with children (aged 4-6 years). The methodology will include a description and

age characteristics, identification of physical and emotional scars as forms of CP , ways of acting out and support.

* Methodology for working with children (10-12 ages). * Methodology for working with pupils at primary level of education, future parents and parents. The

methodology will include: description of the problem, cultural attitudes, age characteristics of children, the types of parenting and will provide practical skills for positive parenting.

* Piloting of developed methodology for working with children aged 4-6 years * Piloting of practical methodology for working with pupils at primary level of education * Practical methodology for parents. Parents will go through the same modules (format for adults) 4 days x 3

  • hours. Training module will be presented under the title: "School for parents - roles and relationships".

Producing and piloting of practical methodology to work with future parents (students in the last class of the education).

* Re-survey among the trained children, parents and young people to assess the effectiveness and changing

  • attitudes. Еvaluation of training conducted through re-survey.

* Working groups for evaluation and monitoring of the training results. * Electronic database of specialist support services, working in the area of child protection mapping

good practices of organizations. Mapping best practices and specialized services and institutions that support children affected by CP , prevention or other, in 4 partner countries. On the website of each

  • rganization will be presented and the mechanism for coordinated response to children, affected or at

risk

* Multidisciplinary approach in working with children affected by CP - coordination and preventive

precautions.

* The method of working with children and adolescents will be based on the principle of “Case

management”.

* When the multidisciplinary team it should be handled on a "Case Conferences". Personal-centered

approach, including specialists from key institutions involved in instances of child abuse, law enforcement and judicial authorities.

* Case management will be held locally in three cities in Bulgaria - Pernik, Dupnitsa and

Blagoevgrad.

* National representative study of the situation in the country. Bulgaria and Portugal

* To raise the awareness on the topic of CPCP we plan to conduct an integrated communication campaign which will pool all relevant communication channels including TV, print media, online media, social media, etc.

* Filming and disseminating of video clip. Production of 2 video spots. * Communication campaign will use also educational communication tools, such as:  Creation of Web-platform. Web platform for sharing of good EU practices, dissemination of resources and

  • ption for Q&A / advices from relevant professionals.

 Promotion of the project results through a Facebook page. Dissemination of the video spot in social media,

including Facebook, relevant national and international video webs and all communication channels of the National Network for Children, uniting 141 organizations.

 Creating and printing brochure 1 – brochure with pictures for children aged 3-6 years.  Creating and printing brochure 2 – “Is this punishment?” for children aged 12-18 years.  Creating and printing brochure 3 – for parents. * Carrying out a national information campaign against CP

. Held a large-scale national information campaign against CP . Printing leaflets for the campaign, posters , created banners and conducting the campaign on- line.

* 5 round tables. (2 in Bulgaria, 1 in Cyprus, 1 in Iceland and 1 in Portugal). A search of good national

practices for coordinated actions at all levels, optimizing the legal regulations and interpretative element.

* Final conference. International final conference in Sofia with the participation of representatives of partner

  • rganizations. We anticipate the participation of 80+ participants from governmental and non-governmental
  • rganizations working on the problem.
