  15.  Turkey is candidate for ICAO Council at 2016 Elections.  As a Council Member, Turkey will be able to; - play a more active role in the development of African Civil Aviation - provide more support and contribution to Africa  Stronger Africa, Stronger Turkey …

  16.  First Contact in Dakar May 2014  Committed to provide training/workshop on AIS  In 2014, 2 AIS trainings took place  DR Congo, 28-31 July 2014, 40 Participants (CAA & ANSP)  Angola, 24-28 November 2014, 35 Participants (ANSP AIS)  Agreement discussion between EUROCONTROL & IATA  To support Africa & improve AIS/AIM with workshops per State/ANSP  Looking forward to signing MOU soon  Planned activities in 2015  Training on AIS/AIM is foreseen in Nigeria (July/Aug 2015)  Following 2 workshops for DR Congo and Angola still to be planned. (Review of the Implementation of AIS/AIM action plan proposed)  Close cooperation with AFCAC Secretariat
