The Chancellor has launched a visioning process that will result in a strategic framework for the long- term future of UC Davis: The deliberations focus on the following themes:

  • Financial/ resource sustainability
  • Organizational efficiency
  • Enhancing student success
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Integrating our physical locations for greater visibility

and impact

Phases of the visioning process: Phase I: Develop a framework for consultation with UC Davis stakeholder groups Phase II: Broad consultation and a “listening tour” with members of the UC Davis campus community Phase III: Draft a vision for how to position UC Davis as the University of the 21st Century Phase IV: Invite public comment on the draft vision Phase V: Finalize vision for UC Davis as the University of the 21 Century
