  10. A Small Example Of Who We Work With • ArchitecturalPractices • ProjectManagers • StructuralEngineers • InteriorDesigners • Landlords • PrivateHouseholds

  11. Rachel Taylor Project Kirk Deighton is a small hamlet just outside Wetherby. Ashfield were tasked with bringing an existing dilapidated property up to date and creating new living areas. The property had been not been modernised in several decades and it was a good opportunity to totally transform the dwelling to suit modern day living. In addition to removing walls and installing RSJ’s we extended the property on two elevations creating an enlarged kitchen dining area and new reception room. Extensive landscaping was also undertaken too. With the client not residing in the property we were able to carry out works in a very efficient manner completing the project one month ahead of schedule.

  12. 4D Pharma Plc Ashfield were engaged alongside Ben Huckerby Designs to create new offices, break out area, meeting rooms, kitchenette, reception and waiting area within one of Leeds premium officecomplexes. With the project being in the city centre and in a multi storey office block, it was critical that all works were carried out and completed outside of standard office trading hours and with the minimum of disturbance to the other occupants of the building. Ashfield created the building regulation compliant documents in conjunction with BHD designs, layout and specification. The project was finished ahead of schedule and to a very high standard, exceeding the client’s expectations.

  13. Hillside No ObstacleFor Double Storey Extension A steep hillside was seen as a challenge rather than an obstacle when Howard and Julia Shaw began thinking of how they could extend their 2-bed cottage inEsholt. A friend recommended Ashfield Builders and “the next thing I knew Brendon was sitting in our kitchen chatting over how best to excavate into the hill” remembers Howard. A month of digging and earthworks was required to create space for the ambitious double storey extension to the property, which is partly below groundlevel. Transformed into an L-shape, Howard says the couple’s cottage is now “much, much more interesting” . He adds: “It’s at least 60 per cent bigger and one of the features we enjoy the most is a 40ft living room; two walls of which are below ground. There’s so much you can do with space like that!”

  14. Ashfield Deliver A Reliably Outstanding Service Ashfield Building Group recently completed an extensive refurbishment project to upgrade the Warrington premises of AVT Reliability, a market leading plant reliability specialists. Working in conjunction with architect Robert Blundell of 3xa Design, we were engaged to create additional offices, break-out areas, shower rooms, changing facilities, toilets, plant assembly room, research area and spray booth. The scheme has transformed the space with a high- specification contemporary interior design, configured entirely within an existing industrial structure. The project was full turnkey, from initial design and construction management right through to the finishingtouches. The company employs more than 100 professional condition monitoring engineers at its offices throughout the UK and Europe.

  15. SIMPLY because we are differentiating ourselves from other building contractors We pride ourselves in finding the pain points that other builders create, isolating those issues and formulating solutions for ourcustomers. We have found the following four to be most valued.

  16. Strategic Project Management • Accurate and detailed week over week project management GANTT charts. • Monthly application values for customer budget and cash flow preparedness.

  17. Variations, We Have A Robust Policy Unexpected things can happen both on site and at point of planning and customers might wish to add something or take it away. Our policy is to not press forward until any variation has been properly identified, analysed, remedied and signed off on by the appropriate parties. Where possible we aim to deliver cost-effective solutions/remedies.

  19. Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatoryrequirements. Is a family of standards related to environmental management that exists to help organisations (a) minimise how their operations (processes, etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e., cause adverse changes to air, water or land); (b) comply with applicable laws, regulations and other environmentally oriented requirements, and (c) continually improve in the above. Helps organisations reduce occupational injuries and diseases by providing a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions, all over theworld.
