Provides short-term, limited financial support to
- rganizations
delivering necessary services throughout Gilliam County. Provides funding
- pportunities for
capital projects (over $20K) that benefit Gilliam County and it's citizens.. Provides funding
- pportunities for
projects (under $20K) and events that benefit Gilliam County and it's citizens.
Operational Support Grant
ELIGIBILE ENTITIES GRANT USES APPLICATION PROCESS SCORING
Applicants must operate and/or provide services within Gilliam County and be one of the following: Non-Profit Organization Community Service Provider Government Agency Special District Applications must show a minimum of 10% matching funding (cash or in-kind) from other sources. Funds may be used for: Employee Salaries & Benefits Operational Expenses Supplies & Materials Strategic Planning Expenses Applications will be reviewed, scored and ranked for funding based on the following criteria:
- 1. Benefit to the County 60%
- 2. Matching Funds Leveraged 20%
- 3. Necessity of County Funding 20%
In FY 2020-2021, the Court will also be requiring applicants to develop and submit sustainability plans for their
- rganizations.
Applications are available on the County’s website and at the Treasurer’s Office. Applications are due to the Treasurer’s Office by March 20, 2019 at 5:00pm sharp. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered for funding.
Capital Investment Grant
ELIGIBILE ENTITIES GRANT USES APPLICATION PROCESS SCORING
Applicants must operate and/or provide services within Gilliam County and be one of the following: Non-Profit Organization Community Service Provider Government Agency Special District Applications must show a minimum of 35% matching funding (cash or in-kind) from other sources. Funds may be used for capital projects of $20K or more including: Certain Equipment Purchases Supplies & Materials Contractor Costs Applications will be reviewed, scored and ranked for funding based on the following criteria:
- 1. Benefit to the County 60%
- 2. Matching Funds Leveraged 25%
- 3. Timeliness/Necessity of County Funding 15%
Two Grant Cycles: Spring & Fall Applications are available on the County’s website and at the Treasurer’s Office. Spring Cycle applications are due to the Treasurer’s Office by March 20, 2019 at 5:00pm sharp. Fall Cycle applications will be available and are due in September. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered for funding.
Special Projects Grant

Applicants must operate and/or provide services within Gilliam County and be one of the following: Non-Profit Organization Community Service Provider Government Agency Special District Applications must show a minimum of 25% matching funding (cash or in-kind) from other sources. Funds may be used for: Capital Projects (less than $20K) Events Applications will be reviewed, scored and ranked for funding based on the following criteria:
- 1. Benefit to the County 60%
- 2. Matching Funds Leveraged 25%
- 3. Timeliness/Necessity of County Funding 15%
Grant cycle opens on April 15, 2019 Applications will be available on the County’s website and at the Treasurer’s Office. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered for funding.
