Creation of Baltimore City Human Trafficking Collaborative

  • Introduced Resolution establishing the creation of the first-ever

Human Trafficking Collaborative to end trafficking in Baltimore City

  • Currently serving as Co-Chair of Collaborative and Chairperson of

the Legislative Committee

resources for survivors and hold “Johns” accountable.

the help of families across Baltimore City

Fighting For Our Scholars

Stood firm with my colleagues after several weeks of failed negations with the Administration in voting 15-0 to cut over $26 million in funding for programs --- in an effort to increase support for our youth! Our effort lead to the following investments:

  • $10.4 million for Baltimore City Public Schools

after-school programs

  • $1.5 million for Safe Streets anti-violence iniatiatve
  • $150,000 for the Maryland Food Bank to provide

meals for families in need
