 起承轉合  Have a main theme (or a couple of main points)  Avoid sidetracks  Refer to suitable analogies, examples, personal experience  Repeat the (single) message if needed  (Optional) Talk about the conclusions first

Slide layout: DO’s

Use two or three colours only

 Especially with old projectors

One topic on one slide

 Only include relevant things on a slide  But you can put many things on it  Stay longer on one slide

Write in point form, concisely Choose pictures carefully

 Make sure you can explain them

Monopole source(單極源)

Slide layout: Don’ts

Do not write complete sentences A single point with more than two lines. It becomes a paragraph that explain a lot of things and you end up reading the paragraph

Font size too small

Too much information?

 Make it more concise!  Or… divide them into two slides

Fill the slide with jargons and abbreviations
