LINC and ButtonPad capacitors  Reduces EMI noise coming from LINC and ButtonPad while engine is running  Not essential to boat operation  Can cause Accessory circuit to trip if capacitor fails  Prevents LINC Touch (G series) from cutting out during engine cranking

LINC TOUCH SHUTS DOWN DURING ENGINE CRANKING  Make sure 1000uF capacitor is plugged in behind LINC display – LINC Touch is sensitive to voltage drop during engine cranking  Not a known issue with non- Touch LINC displays

STEREO WORKS, BUT LINC WON’T BOOT UP  Unplug Black connector, Accessory ON, check for 12v  Hint: Use standard Deutsch DT size 16 pins to make good contact with two Accessory and one Ground pin

Shift Override Button  If Stuck Closed  Engine will crank but transmission won’t shift  Engine remains stuck in neutral  May unplug switch to temporarily operate boat until switch is replaced  If Stuck Open  Blue light ring will not turn ON  Can’t disengage the shifting function to rev the engine

Underwater Lights – 2 complaints Dimming every 30 seconds or so, then returning to original brightness 1.  Thermal protection feature that cannot be resolved, except by submersing in the water  When the boat moves above idle speed, they are above the water and are most likely to enter the thermal protection mode. Frequent U/W light circuit faults on LINC 2.  Resolution: 2016 LINC software updates increases underwater lights breaker to 15amps
