  4. Mission Statement Under the direction of the HLPOA Board, act as a contact point and resource on the wide range of riparian issues affecting Higgins Lake

  5. Objectives Act as a resource for the HLPOA board by gathering and assembling 1) information on the broad range of riparian issues affecting Higgins Lake, including marinas, road ends, funneling, illegal mooring, zoning ordinances, liability, enforcement, etc. Help the HLPOA board to educate members and the broader Higgins 2) Lake community through dissemination of important, usable riparian information, including through the HLPOA website. Act as a point of contact and resource for the HLPOA board for 3) riparian issues forwarded by HLPOA members. Act as a resource, and under the direction of the HLPOA board, on 4) important HLPOA policy issues. Help the HLPOA board respond to HLPOA Member riparian 5) concerns, when appropriate.

  6. Objectives (cont.) 6. Act as a resource for the HLPOA board and the HLPAC on riparian issues being considered by local and state governments, to assist them in monitoring and advocating for riparian issues.

Working on developing a proposed Marina Policy 2) Response to Amvets request for DEQ marina permit 3) Hillcrest request for marina expansion from 50 to 75 slips 4)
