YALKIM OIZ - OVERVIEW YALKIM OIZ was registered on July 3, 2015. Established as the 282th OIZ in Turkey with registration number 308. The only active OIZ in Yalova. Situated on a land of around 1,200 decares. Expertise was completed at the end of 2017.

DowAksa İleri Kompozit Malzemeler Ltd. Şti. DowAksa, the sole Carbon Fiber producer in Turkey, is one of the 8 carbon fiber producers in the world. Produced by means of a technology developed 100% by Turkish engineers, carbon fiber offers alternative solutions including, specially for energy, transportation and infrastructure industries. The carbon fiber produced by DowAksa was used for the unmanned aerial vehicle project conducted with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). Carbon fiber production which was initiated by Aksa is performed by DowAksa as a result of the joint venture made with the US Dow Chemicals, a global chemical leader, in 2012. The annual production capacity of the company is 3,500 tons.
