Mental Health

Mental Health Workforce Plan

Local STP Plans NCL: Career clinics at all MH Trusts to consider how potential leavers may fit into new roles. Fast- track programmes for graduating nurses and aspiring band 6s continue. Overseas recruitment being planned NEL: Collaboration between acute and MH providers around nurse training; East London Careers micro-site developed; programmes developed to support staff to move from bank to substantive roles NWL: T&F group to oversee implementation of MH Workforce Plan. Focus on recruitment, retention and new roles including peer support workers and apprenticeships. SEL and SWL: the South London Partnership (SLP) working together on nursing career pathways, introduction of nursing associates and wider workforce transformation across the three trusts.
