How is the apprenticeship assessed?

  • All apprentices have an assessor that visits

you at work every month to review what you are doing and to ensure you are happy in your work place

  • Your assessor is a specialist in the area you

are working in and will support you throughout the duration of your course and help you with your NVQ

  • Some apprentices come into College

(usually for one day per week) and we have an excellent team of teachers who deliver training

  • n campus.

Case studies

Don’t just take our word for it – find out what our apprentices say…… “You can’t beat learning on the job, and with an apprenticeship you get the best of both worlds. I come in to college one day a week and learn theory, and the rest of the time I am a real mechanic!” Austin Roberts, Motor Mechanics Apprentice “An apprenticeship opens up your options as well as helping you to do your job more effectively – it is well worth doing. I’ve completed Level 3 and gone up to Level 4. It can even give you a route into university, which I am looking into.” Madiha Rizvi, Customer Service Apprentice
