FDF Apprenticeship Roadshow Edinburgh 25 th October 2012 Craft Modern Apprenticeship Engineering Maintenance Scottish Vocational Qualification SVQ 2 Engineering Practices EKGTA (East Kilbride Group Training Centre): 6 months full time Scottish Vocational Qualification SVQ 3 Engineering Maintenance Achieved during the remainder of apprenticeship: 3.5 years within Devro All training is continually assessed by Devro Maintenance A1 Assessors & verified by EKGTA All EM 3 Training logs are uploaded onto “Learning Assistant”.

Year 3 + 4: HNC Elect Eng “ “ Further education is encouraged: 3 apprentices are now qualified to a degree level in Eng Management & Electrical Power.
