Air Patrol was founded to provide border and coastal patrols, military training assistance, courier services and other activities. All to be conducted by civilian volunteers.

  • Over 800 Cadets and 900 Senior Members.
  • Supports Community Organizations as needed & Assists with Local

Events including Air Shows, Bandemere Nationals, Rodeos, CPR Training, Parades, Big Chili Cook-off, Triple Bypass, Wreathes Across America at

  • Ft. Logan National Cemetery, etc..
  • Search and Rescue - CAP Aircrews and Ground Teams found and saved

four lost hikers in Rocky Mountain National Park in just one summer!

  • Disaster Relief- Assisted Red Cross and Salvation Army after the

Windsor Tornado and Waldo Canyon Fire and fly Humanitarian Missions where CAP Aircrews transport and expedite delivery of life saving blood and organs as well as equipment and search dogs.

  • MOU’s in place to help spot lightning strike fires and perform fire watch

patrols after prescribed burns.
