TR as a related service • Therapeutic Recreation is a related service defined by IDEA §300.34(c)(11) Recreation includes— (i) Assessment of leisure function; (ii) Therapeutic recreation services; (iii) Recreation programs in schools and community agencies; and (iv) Leisure education • Nebraska’s Rule 51 section (003.49) on related services lists Therapeutic Recreation, among other services.
