Summary of findings

  • LBH (20.4) has a lower number of community pharmacies per

100,000 population than England (21.6) and London (22.5) averages

  • The majority of community pharmacies in Hounslow are open

weekday evenings (75%) and Saturdays (91%); 29% are open on Sundays

  • Feedback from the pharmacy user survey found that

– Over 95% rated their overall satisfaction on the service received from their local pharmacy as ‘Excellent’ or ‘Good’ – 93% rated the ease of obtaining medication as ‘Excellent’ or ‘Good’ – 64% of respondents report having a journey time of no more than 10 minutes; 95% reported a journey time of no more than 20 minutes
