Tourism Safety Tech Forum has been established

  • Provides a meeting

place for techies to present viable solutions

  • Forum includes proper

representation by law enforcement parties to assess the viability of solutions presented. Match the solution providers to the custodians of the initiatives/programmes addressing the challenges faced.

Panic button, Kazala NW app, Namola, Buzzer, Telegraph etc. A tech tool is currently being developed by DEDAT that will allow incidents against tourists to be logged via a simple app. This will allow for data gathering and data intelligence.
