  7. HOMEWORK GRIDS - Either maths OR English - Once a week - Due Wednesdays - Completed at the front of the homework book - Rewarded with house points or credits

  8. READING COMPREHENSION - Completed at the back of the homework book - No need to write the questions - Instead, answer in full sentences Example: The main character in my book is Humpty Dumpty. I believe he felt sad because he sat on a wall by himself and then fell off. Even though ‘…all the King’s horses and all the King’s men’ tried to fix him, they couldn’t which may have left Humpty feeling hopeless.

WEEKLY EXPECTATIONS - Reading Comprehension homework completed by Wednesday - Maths or English activity from grid completed by Wednesday - Spellings learnt for test on Wednesday - Library bags to be brought in for our library slot on Thursday - Read at least three times a week – at least once aloud with an adult - Daily times tables practice
