NCD were 4th. • Students could not be joining us at a better time

Difference from School… Significant increase in demand from Level 2 to Level 3 • Adult environment, first names, no uniform • Different start and finish times each day; 5, 4, or 3 days; • Lessons are 90 minutes long; 4.5 hours per subject per week so organising • independent time is crucial ISC, TAP and tutorials all compulsory • Fewer rules, but important: Attendance; punctuality; • swearing; bullying; misuse of media; ID visible; face coverings; respect! Independence – emails, DIL, organising time •

  21. The Probationary Period • Objective: to ensure our students are on the most appropriate courses to be successful in 2 years’ time • Students will be RAG rated at the end of the probationary period - Green = excellent start - Amber = support and interventions required - Red = subject review

The rest of Year 12 • Cedar assessments, assignments etc • No Year 12 Parents’ Evening – phone calls and Cedar • Progression to Year 13 not ‘automatic’ • Y12 Progression exams/assignments • Behaviour and attendance very important • Parents' Information Evening for HE – around May time but may be online

  23. Year 13 • Significant increase in workload • Tutorial focus on HE, apprenticeships and employment (progression) • Year 13 Parents’ Evening, fingers crossed it will be face to face • Final exams/assignments May/June 2022
