The Roads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC) work in partnership with Transport for London (TfL) to Keep London moving safely by policing across London's transport network. We work towards continually improving safety on the transport network and around transport hubs by reducing crime and ASB and increasing confidence. We do so by working in partnership, being a visible presence on buses and at transport hubs and using a problem solving approach.
Our remit
The RTPC has a number of specialised units that deal with a variety of issues on London's Transport Network, including:

Facilities Manages the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service contract in Hillingdon Borough for both Hillingdon Hospital and Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group. Providing Patient Transport to and from Health Care Facilities (this does not include GP appointments). Transport is provided due to medical need at the time
Patients have to meet an eligibility criteria to access this service which is set by the Department of Health. The assessment would be undertaken by your GP, or Clinic you are attending (in the community or the Hospital). Once agreed that the Patient requires Transport, the clinical team would book transport for the Patient.
