Getting Ready For College (It’s all about exploration)
Focus on classes! It’s important that students work hard now and learn as much as they can. Get involved and explore extra- curricular activities. If you are on a vacation, have the time, and happen to be by a college campus go ahead and check it out with your student. No need to actually plan college visits at this time, though.
Finances
In three years, you will have the opportunity to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your 2020 federal tax return will be used for this free application. Bellevue School District Free/Reduced Priced Meals program provides access for students to receivenot
- nly free/reduced meals at schoo but also fee
waivers for college entrance exams and applications! Link: https://bsd405.org/services/nutrition-services/free- reduced/
