Birthdays

Birthdays are recognized in the classroom during

  • snack. If you would like to provide a small snack

(doughnut holes, cupcakes, soft pretzels, cookies, etc.), you may do so. However, birthday treat bags, party favors, balloons, and drinks are not permitted. Children with food allergies may not be allowed to share in the treat you send in, therefore it is strongly encouraged to order birthday treats through our

  • Cafeteria. Our Cafeteria is aware of food allergies in

classrooms and will be sure to provide a different snack for children with food allergies. The Cafeteria asks that you call a week prior to your child’s birthday if you would like to order birthday treats (215) 325- 1400 ext. 6365.

Behavior

Behavior will be monitored with our classroom clip chart. A clip chart is a great tool that allows students to be awarded for positive behavior and discourages negative

  • behavior. Everyone will start on

green at the beginning of each day and clips can be moved up and down throughout the day based on behavior. We work hard as a class to make the classroom a positive and safe place for all.
