Forecasting: Step by Step

1.

Research classes of interest

2.

Get your form from your 2nd period teacher on March 8th, immediately fill in your name, student ID, due date and counselor

3.

Research classes more: use Course Planning Guide for help

4.

Meet with your counselor as needed to select classes

5.

Finish filling out forecasting form completely

6.

Get signatures from your parents and teachers (for classes marked with a ).

7.

Enter class choices with counselors March 15-16 and turn in form – make sure to select alternates!

Juniors take at least 6 classes.

CREDIT RECOVERY

 There are several ways you can make up a class that you’ve failed:

Online, SUN, Summer School

 If you fail a core class, see your School Counselor immediately to

get signed up for credit recovery stay ON TRACK to graduate!

 Classes must be approved by your COUNSELOR prior to

registration.

 If you have questions, make an appointment to see your

Counselor ASAP!

 Check to see if you have failed classes in StudentVue, under

“COURSE HISTORY.”

IB classes are the m ost challenging courses offered

at GHS for Juniors and Seniors. IB Program Options:
