(All timings to be confirmed at a later date)  We will commence our journey across the channel arriving in Bormio sometime on Saturday afternoon.  Our Resort Manager will meet us in resort and he or she will look after our group throughout our tour.  Upon arrival we will have our ski fit ready for lessons to commence the next day. Please pack one pair of ski socks in your hand luggage.  Our first meal is evening dinner and therefore you will need to take a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of fluids for the journey.

  7. Handy Tips for a comfy journey  Don’t pack your ski jacket  Small sleeping bag/blanket and a pillow.  Plenty of snacks and drinks (preferably water) for the journey.  Take a plastic carrier with you so you can collect your rubbish and pop straight into the bin.  You might also want to pack some mini snacks in your suitcase  If possible take a large soft holdall rather than a hard suitcase as this packs easier into the coach holdall and is also much better for storage in your room.  DVD’s must be suitable viewing

  16. The day begins  Around 7.00* to 7.15 am;  Continental breakfast at 7.45 am;  Then ready to ski at 8.45 am;  We start with warm up runs before the lessons with the Academy staff team.

  18. Warm-up areas before lessons

  19. Skiing  Students have one, 2 hour ski lesson each day starting at 9.30 am with the local ski school (right next to the hotel);  Group sizes tend to be between 10 and 12 per instructor;  We are keen that the groups have instructions in their lessons - not “follow the instructor”;  If students report the latter we very quickly see the head instructor.

  20. Nursery areas for beginners day 1

  21. Lessons (2 groups in second image)

  22. Lunch  Following the lessons, we ensure that there is a quick discussion and “thank yous ” with the instructors and then it’s in to lunch;  This is a self-service meal;  There is plenty of choice;  The food is excellent.

  23. Meals
