Special cases - 1 TC 18/p 1 New Recommendation: Ophthalmic instruments - Impression and applanation tonometers The convener (Germany) asked the BIML to help due to poor voting response for the last CD. They hoped to proceed to DR and CIML approval. The BIML is currently editing the DR, but there are only 5 P-members The BIML recommends that the normal CIML ballot and approval process is followed since the Project Group’s work has already been almost completed 92 49th CIML Meeting • Auckland (New Zealand) • 4-6 November 2014

Special cases - 2 TC 18/SC 2/p 1 Revision of R 7: Clinical thermometers, mercury-in-glass with maximum device This Project Group was mistakenly omitted from progress report request and from list of problem Project Groups sent to the CIML in July 2014. It currently has no convener, as TC 18/SC 2 did not have a secretariat at the time the new Project Groups were put into place. The project is currently at the 1CD stage (since before 2012), but the BIML does not have this CD.
