TEXAS SUCCESS INITIATIVE (TSI)
ASSESSMENT USED TO DETERMINE COURSE PLACEMENT IN COLLEGE AND TO QUALIFY FOR DUAL CREDIT COURSES CAN BE EXEMPT FROM EXAM WITH QUALIFYING SCORES ON SAT OR ACT WE WILL OFFER TSI TESTING IN THE SPRING. DATES WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN VIRTUAL GUIDANCE.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
Complete FAFSA online (www.fafsa.ed.gov) available October 1st of senior year. The FAFSA must be completed to be considered for scholarships from the university. Parents will need information from completed income tax return from prior prior year. Students must have parent information! You can not be considered independent until 24 years of age. Scholarships are out there, but you have to do the footwork! You should NOT pay for scholarships or scholarship searches. Be wary of scams and adding your name to lists!
