You may obtain temporary ID at Social Assistance (SAS) Credits may be bought directly, from the counter by the Central restaurant,

  • r through the App (bank payment).

Operation hours:

Breakfast: 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM (Central restaurant only.) Lunch: 11:15 AM to 2:15 PM (different hours at Chemistry rest.) Dinner: 5:30 PM to 7:45 PM (not available at Prefecture.) Special students can’t obtain an ID Secondary options outside the Institute: Restaurants at Physics, Architecture, Education; food trucks.

Habitation and healthcare

CRUSP (university housing) has vacancy for graduate students; Hospital: photo ID and enrollment slip needed. Dentistry: appointments by the Central restaurant. Mental healthcare: psychological care service at Psychology (IP)* CVV: Center for the Value of Life (call 188) Alternatively, look for IME’s academic assistant!!!

Transportation

Bus lines: 8012-10 and 8022-10 (from subway to campus, and back) - 24/7! Free access with USP pass (BUSP, request via the Janus system). Student pass: bus and railway services; request at SAS.

*SPTrans limits pass quotas based on weekly class days. To increase your quota, a document signed by an advisor, giving their consent, is needed.

They discuss and approve thesis committees, course credits, course locking, deadline extensions, supervisor changes; Assign and unassign institutional scholarships; Decide changes to program rules

CPG = Comissão de Pós-Graduação (postgraduate committee)

They supervise decisions from each CCP.

RD = Representante Discente (student rep)

Student with vote rights within an institutional committee; A nominal rep and up to one surrogate rep may be elected.
