~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Do you know what natural gas is? Natural gas is a nonrenewable energy. An example of the ways we use natural gas is to heat our homes in the winter. We need to try to save natural gas for the future.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A type of nonrenewable energy is coal. Nonrenewable means that there is a certain amount of it in the world. Coal’s main use is making electricity.
Water is one of the renewable resources. Not only do we use this resource to drink but it can produce energy. Water can be forced to go through a spinning wheel or turbine to produce electricity.
Wind is a renewable energy. It is renewable because it will never run out. Some days there will be no wind but it doesn't mean it’s run out. Wind helps power many things and is a great resource. Wind can power boats with sails! It is a free energy resource for boats.
