  1. Soda Folk is a range of traditional American soft drinks. Our products are all-natural, free from preservatives, and made with the best ingredients , such as Madagascan bourbon vanilla, organic maple syrup, and cane sugar. Each drink is packaged in 330ml cans. Our branding celebrates the “uncommon folk” that helped inspire our business. We’ve selected two varieties for our launch: Cream Soda: Made with a blend of Madagascan vanilla ex- tracts, this cream soda has a rich, creamy taste, with a bit of cedar and smokiness that give it depth. Root Beer: We make our root beer using a careful mix of ex- tracts, organic vanilla, cane sugar, and pure maple syrup. Since launching in May 2015, Soda Folk is stocked by Byron, Selfridges, Cotswold Fayre, and countless independents.

  2. Our story so far When I moved to London from America in the summer of 2012, I knew I’d miss a few things about my native land: family, friends, the Rocky Mountains, baseball, and of course, root beer. Let me explain that last one… Growing up in Colorado, I was obsessed with root beer. Our supermarket shelves were stocked with dozens of locally brewed varieties, and I drank as much of it as my parents would allow. On our family road trips through Texas or Wyoming, my brothers and I were bribed into getting along with frequent stops for root beer fmoats. My childhood friends and I even attempted to develop our own recipe using roots foraged from my back yard (the result: surprisingly tasty, though probably poisonous). I knew I wouldn’t be able to give up on root beer, even if I was nearly 5000 miles away from home. I started Soda Folk to introduce Britain to America’s best soft drink . We make the kind of root beer I grew up with: all natural, sweetened with cane sugar, with the perfect blend of sweetness and bite. The kind we know you’re going to love too. Ken Graham, Founder of Soda Folk

  3. Fans I love sugary fjzzy drinks. Vimto, Dr Pepper... they might not be good for you, LOCAL HERO - SODA FOLK but they taste, well, sweet. Soda Folk uses only cane sugar in its root beer and cream soda, rather than the cheaper (and more cloying) high-fructose corn syrup, Made in the UK to traditional U.S. recipes, with nothing artifjcial, these are the best I’ve tasted. Artisan fjzzy drinks? Amen to that. sodafolk.co.uk

  4. While mainstream brands have seen sweetened soft drinks sales soften in recent years, the craft soda market is booming: . d a o s f t r a C : u y o r a n e s a s g l a t o n g i n r i u p o Craft sodas are shaking up the soft-drink market in the same way that craft beer has altered n k i d r t e s p p h i , s t w e e n e T h the beer world. Even major soft drinks brands are catching on “’We think there’s a good healthy prospect of where craft could go in the soda world going forward,’ PepsiCO North America CMO Simon Lowden said.”
