Starting point • The following results and images are a view of the typical condition of the WWT before we started dosing. • This specific plant was designed for 4 Mega Liters, and receives approx 7-8 Mega Liters per day. • Main concerns expressed by the WWT are typically: - Odour - Colour of the Clarifiers, and Aeration units and retention dams. - Non-compliant results of the outgoing effluent into the river

Staring point At%this%point%in%@me%the%odour%coming%from%the%plant%was%resul@ng%in%a%number%of%% • %%%%%complaints%from%the%residents%in%the%area.% %% Typically%the%colour%of%the%mix%in%the%clarifiers%and%the%aera@on%units%should%be% • %%%%%%a%light%brownish%colour%and%not%the%dark%black/grey%colour%as%seen%in%these%pictures.% It%is%clear%that%there%is%a%reduc@on%in%the%Aerobic%and%Anaerobic%process%that%need%% • %%%%%%to%take%place%in%order%to%breakdown%the%sludge%that%has%built%up%over%@me.%This%is%% %%%%%%typically%due%to%a%low%DO%level.% It%is%clear%that%due%to%the%high%solids%content%and%COD,%in%the%effluent%leaving% • %%%%%%the%plant,%that%the%ability%for%the%Chlorina@on%process%to%have%any%effect%% %%%%%%is%lost.% We%see%signs%of%this%from%the%growth%of%algae%in%the%Chlorina@on%Contact% • %%%%%%Chamber%and%the%fact%that%there%is%a%high%Total%Coliforms%in%the%effluent%% %%%%%%been%discharged%into%the%river.% This%is%all%due%to%the%overloading%of%the%WWT%system.% •
First Week Treatment • We%started%our%treatment%process%with%the%introduc@on%of%our% Millbac&SWT .% % • Our%inten@on%is%to%start%to%introduce%our%Bacteria%into%the%process% %%%%%%to%rebuild%the%Anaerobic%and%Aerobic%processes%required%to%% %%%%%%%effec@vely%breakdown%the%waste.% % • When%the% Millbac&SWT& starts%to%breakdown%the%waste,%we%typically%see%that%the% %%%%%%%condi@on%of%the%plant%starts%to%get%worse%before%it%can%get%beUer.% % • The%reason%for%this%is%that%in%the%process%of%breaking%down%the%waste%that% %%%%%%%has%collected%over%@me,%we%see%in%an%increase%in%the,%COD,% %%%%%%Ammonium/Nitrate,%Nitrate/Nitrogen%and%TSS.%O]en%resul@ng%in%increased% %%%%%%odour.% % • This%is%a%sign%that%our%system%is%working.%
