AVID (Advancement Via

Individual Determination) is a program and class taken each year at West Mecklenburg High School that assists students in preparing to meet university and college entrance requirements and to successfully graduate from college.

Requirements

the upcoming 2020-2021 season. (No student is allowed to participate without this document on file.) Physicals from the 2019-2020 season have been granted an extension for the upcoming season.

Athletics Requirements:

Promotion from the 2019-2020 school year equals eligibility for the 2020-2021 athletic year 2.0 1st semester athletic GPA, WAIVED for 2020 first semester 6 1st semester minimum courses passed

  • Seniors are required to take at least 3 classes to be eligible for 2nd Semester

Canvas is an Online Learning Management Software Program. It streamlines classroom work to one location where teachers can post and grade assignments, and students can complete work and receive feedback from teachers.
