Applicant Eligibility Criteria

In order to access the Ski Area Infrastructure and Safety Grants the below criteria will have to be met:

  • For-profit
  • Non-profit
  • Municipally-owned
  • Downhill/Alpine ski/snowboard areas
  • Cross country/Nordic areas
  • One (1) application per ski area
  • Or one (1) distinct application for each ski area that
  • perates under its own federal employer id number

(FEIN), where multiple ski areas are owned by one company

Attestations

Eligible businesses must meet all of attestations in the

  • application. These are legally binding, and should not be glossed
  • ver. Applicants should carefully read section 3 of the
  • NOFA. Below are some highlights:

  • Must plan to be open by December 30, 2020
  • Repayment if the business has a duplication of benefit
  • Agreement to be governed by the laws of Vermont
  • Indemnification of the State of Vermont
  • Compliance with all Federal CRF guidance
  • Forfeiture /repayment of award if the business violates
