2008 Coal Creek Fire (Fire Use) Discussion

- The Coal Creek Fire was one of the first large
fires managed as a fire use fire in the state.
- High visibility and a lot of media.
- The partnership between the USFS and City was
critical to allowing this fire to be “managed” as such and greatly contributed to it’s overall success.
