Timeline of UK’s Dialogue with Apple
iPad Air Devices are Scheduled to be Deployed on Campus in Fall 2019 Three Phases First-year Class Fall 2019 Phase I • iPads will be distributed during summer 2019 to enhance engagement of academic coaches with students' prior to their full- time arrival on campus in Fall 2019. Program partnership with offices of Enrollment Management and Student and Academic Life Approximately 700 incoming freshman student participants
iPad Air Devices are Scheduled to be Deployed on Campus in Fall 2019 Phase II • Lewis Honors College Approximately 1,000 students in Fall 2019 Cohesive cohort and pilot project for how these devices can be utilized to build community Phase III • Remaining approximately 3,300 to the Fall 2019 first-year class during K week.

UK Invited to Participate in Apple’s Enterprise Design Lab In mid-May, UK representatives will travel to Apple’s Enterprise Design Lab in Cupertino to design an iOS app that will help students transition to student life at the University.
