health food for more than 6.000 years

  • FAO’s logo is a wheat spike

surrounded by the motto: “FIAT PANIS” (LET BREAD BE MADE)

  • Bread supplies fiber and most of

the essential nutrients we need for living: carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, Folic Acid, …) and minerals such as Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Iodine, Iron and Zinc

  • Bread consumption may help to

prevent quite many cardiovascular, digestive and cancer diseases. It has no cholesterol

  • Bread is a fundamentally

symbolic food for the main monotheist religions
