Heating and cooling are mainly provided by LowExergy campus district heating based on deep geothermal energy and biomass boilers. Additionally, waste heat produced by server rooms, technical rooms and computer labs is also proposed as a source for inner low-temperature heating systems. Additionally, rainwater retainer reduces building demand in potable water.
