Being “in charge” creates new challenges

1) ___________ is our job!

§

Responsible research practices / research integrity

§

Safety and risks

§

Special policies, regulations, rules

§

For all these, think about

  • What hazards will my students and I encounter?
  • How can we mitigate risks?
  • Do my students know what to do when I’m not

around?

2) We set the tone for our

students
