Campaign Slogans: Purpose

Develop a toolkit to help truck drivers prepare for mountain travel. The campaign will direct drivers to web/print resources and provide on-road signage and

  • guidance. We want truck drivers to know the following

before traveling mountain highways:

  • The mountain pass speed limit
  • The grade of the pass
  • Public access areas on the pass
  • Locations of brake stations, chain-up stations

and runaway ramps
