Ideally we want to collect all the fragments in a “Bufger” mode
Implemented with a very large “window” mode
9.97 s before the trigger
30 ms after the trigger
Last week stress tested the board
up to 50 KHz of random triggers
We could have gone further

That work dir cannot produce valid fragments for the CTB Overlay class
Right time to do the merging to include some updates
There are timing updates going on in the trigger development branch

CTB Fragments

The structure of the CTB is quite simple
A CTB fragment is just a collection of CTB words
A number of types of CTB words:
Trigger words (2 types LLT and HLT)
Channel status word
Pure TS word – sent regularly from the board
Feedback word – to report error states in the board

This include the CTB fragment overlay
Finally we can build the raw_decoder to have some plots
The raw decoder is already written, in a dedicated branch (CTB_OM)
