To ensure the creepage and clearance distances, all the copper conductors are recessed in the extruded plastic. The rail can be easily cut to any length in the field with a tool provide by A.A.G. Stucchi.

“EUROSTANDARD PLUS” track combines the functionality of all 3 tracks systems currently available in the market in one unique product.

“EURO STANDARD PLUS” tracks: advantages

“EURO STANDARD PLUS” track provides a unique “state of the art” solution incorporating all the functionality now available only by using 3 different types of “EURO STANDARD” tracks. This provides great advantages for both the lighting OEM using it as a platform and the end user of the lighting system. For the lighting OEM:

• Same product range with 1/3 of the product codes (tracks, connections)
• Drastic reduction of inventory levels
• Increased sales of controllable lighting systems

For the final user:

• The “future proof” platform allows the lighting system to be upgraded to a controllable system at

any time. As lighting controls evolve continuously, thanks to the LEDs technology, this gives the system flexibility to work with new protocols.

Positioning Tab: The end feed is keyed which guarantees correct assembly of the accessories. Once installed in the track a locking screw is tighten to secure the assembly.

Compatibility:

6 conductor adapter is compatible with Nordic Pulse products. 4 conductor 3-phase adapter is compatible with the majority of the tracks available on the market.

Track adapter

Symmetrical adapter for spotlights is equipped with a phase selector, making installation and configuration a breeze. Two locking mechanisms fix the adapter securely to the track. The wires are connected with IDC contacts (insulation displacement connector).

Track adapter: security elements

Security element 2: To avoid that the 4 conductor (3 phase 1 neutral) adapter is inserted in the incorrect 4 conductor track (1 phase + DALI)

Security element 1: To avoid the insertion of the 6 conductor adapter in a 4 conductor track. Security element 3: Locking mechanism will not engage unless the adapter has been correctly inserted into the track.

Adapter accessories

• 1. Internal Cord Grip in plastic for cables

with outside diameters of 6 to 9 mm.

• 2. External Cord Grip in plastic for cable having an outside diameter of 6 to 9 mm. When using this

cord grip the adapter is an electrical interface only to the lighting fixture. (no mechanical interface).

Adapter accessories

• 3. Aluminum Ring with a locking screw to stop the rotation
• f the spotlight joint.
• 4. Threaded Nipple available in M10 and M13 thread.

If the pin of threaded nipple is positioned as in figure 1 the luminaire can be rotated approximately 360° and then locked into the desired position with the use of a locking screw as in figure 3. If the pin of the nipple is positioned as in figure 2 (pin inside in the plastic cavity) the luminaire will be in a fixed position with no additional hardware needed.

• 5. For heavy loads (up to 100N) a mechanical adapter, made of metal and self-extinguishing

polycarbonate (class V2-960°C) is available. Compatible with all electrical-mechanical adapter accessories.
