TQM Introduction

• Informationen about the Company

TQM is specialized in the efficient development and production of large, high-quality series tools for sheet metal forming, mainly for the production of dimensionally high quality series parts. As former “Laepple toolshop", we have benefited from tool competence since 1919.

• 170 highly qualified and well-trained employees ensure quality at a high level. Our

project managers accompany tool projects from the engineering phase till delivery and, if necessary, home line tryout in the customer press.

• Manufacturing information
• Types of Dies:

Line-Dies, Transfer-Dies, Progressive-Dies, Draw-, Flange-, Form- and Trim-Dies. Of cource, you will also receive from us the Gauge for measurement.

• Projects:

Support, assembly till function-stroke, spotting, modification, optimization. Projects from Engineering till Note 1. The engineering activities are procured externally and are 100% managed by TQM.

• Formable Materials:

Conventional Steel- and Draw-Quality, high strength Steel, Tailored Blanks, Precoated Steel, Aluminum alloyed Steel for Structure- und Outer-panels.

• Panels (mostly Body Parts):

■ Upon customer request, the tools are grinded with the stone after HSC machining and the sheet thickness is spotted into a constantly bearing picture in our tryout presses. Due to the decades-long specialization in the high requirements for outer skin parts, the tools are exclusively matched by TQM-Europe employees. ■ Thanks to decades of specialization in the demanding requirements for exterior body parts, the tools are being prepared by experienced TQM-Europe employees for the subsequent component optimization projects. ■ Ensuring the required component quality by
