Considerations

with Grades K-7. Eighth graders will remain at their currently zoned Middle School.

 K-8 Schools HH and II will contain 8th grade in the 2015-2016

School Year.

 K-8 School HH will open for the 2014-2015 School Year.  Durbin Creek Elementary currently has 907 (K-5) students and

a permanent capacity of 858.

 Hickory Creek Elementary School currently has 817 (K-5)

students and a permanent capacity of 760.

 Cunningham Creek Elementary School currently has 806 (K-5)

students and a permanent capacity of 646.

 Fruit Cove Middle School currently has 1327 (6-8) students

and a permanent capacity of 1278.

 Switzerland Point Middle School currently has 1271 (6-8)

students and a permanent capacity of 1005.

 K-8 School II will open for the 2014-2015 School Year.  Ocean Palms Elementary currently has 887 (K-5) students and

a permanent capacity of 667.

 PVPV/Rawlings Elementary School currently has 1306 (K-5)

students and a permanent capacity of 1333*.

 Landrum Middle School currently has 1290 (6-8) students and

a permanent capacity of 1053.

*Capacity of 1333 is based on DOE’s classification system. However, PVPV/Rawlings’ classroom layout

not allow full utilization of the total student capacity.
