As a signatory to this landmark agreement we are committed to the goal of a safe and sustainable Bangladeshi Ready-Made Garment (“RMG”) industry and have agreed to establish a fire and safety building program. We are also a member of the BUSINESS SOCIAL COMPLIANCE INITIATIVE (BSCI)

and build ethical and transparent supply chains. In October 2013 the company joined the project “Cotton made in Africa” by the Aid by Trade Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry. As partners in the Cotton made in Africa initiative, we are making a contribution to Africa’s future. The Cotton made in Africa initiative improves living conditions for African cotton farmers and their families.

Cotton plays a key role in fighting poverty and makes a major contribution to food security in many countries of sub-Saharan Africa. This project helps local people help themselves to improve the living conditions of African smallholder farmers.
