1st Dec - Snapshot for Formula Year AQ Value

Oct 2015 - AQ Calculation and Seasonal Normal Demand review will set the Formula Year AQ value for class 3 & 4 as per current processes and timescales (old world).

1st Mar - SMP AQ Calculation (rolling AQ) 1st Feb - SMP AQ Calculation (rolling AQ) 1st Jan - SMP AQ Calculation (rolling AQ)

1st Nov – First SMP AQ Calculation (rolling AQ) takes place (new world) 1st April 2016- SMP AQ Calculation (rolling AQ). This will include the new Formula Year AQ values from the snapshot taken on the 1st December 2015 unless a correction has been accepted. April 2017 will provide the snapshot taken from December 2016.

* NRL issued Month – 5 calendar days

* 1st May - SMP AQ Calculation (rolling AQ)

  • Supply Meter Point AQ will calculate if a

valid read has been received by the 10th calendar day of the current month (closed out read).

  • AQ will go live on the 1st calendar day
  • f the following month.
  • NRL(T04) will be issued 5 days prior to

go live, as will the impacts of the newly calculated AQ (M-5).

  • This will be issued for all confirmations

with the status of “CO” or “LI”. Confirmation status of RQ will be notified as part of the transfer process (TRF files).

  • S91 (offer addendum) will be issued

where an outstanding offer is live (where the formula year or EUC has changed.

  • For Class 3 and 4 (NDM) an SMP SOQ

value will be derived from the AQ Value and will be included in the NRL file issued at Month – 5.

AQ Corrections and Winter Consumption Timeline

e r September September - Review the Winter Consumptions to ensure the proposed value is still equal or less than the AQ value that will be effective at the 1st October. Re-issue the T50 and T51 files at M-5. New End User Categories are assigned to all meter points ready for the 1st October and these are provided in the T04 record (NRL file) issued in September. Proposed Winter Consumptions ready for the 1st October will be provided within the NRL file issued in May.

  • An AQ Correction for class 3 & 4 will

change the formula year AQ value. This will be effective on the 1st of the month following the acceptance of AQ correction.

  • Any correction accepted between 1st

December and the close-out of the calculations taking place in March will replace the December snapshot AQ value.

  • The AQ Correction can be submitted for

the following reasons: Confirmed theft Change in Consumer Plant Commencement of new business (up to 3 months following confirmation) Read Tolerance failure Winter Consumption correction.

  • Calculate the Winter Consumption values

for eligible meter points.

  • Notification will be issued within the T50 if

the calculation has been successful or the T51 if there is a failure to calculate the new Winter Consumption.

AQ Calculation Process

  • The AQ Calculation will be triggered by a valid read.
  • If the AQ Value cannot be calculated the previous AQ value will apply and

notification will be issued.

  • Isolated SMP will not calculate
  • New SMP are not eligible for an AQ Calculation for a period of 9 months
  • All AQ Notifications will be issued at M-5
